INSTALLATION:
------------
RT Video drivers Version 2.12-A2 are distributed in a compressed file,
INTEL.EXE. This file contains all the files that have been updated to
provide the new features discussed in the text file RTUPD.TXT.
To install the version 2.12-A2 RT Video drivers, copy the INTEL.EXE file
into an empty working directory. From the DOS prompt, execute INTEL.EXE,
using the case sensitive command line below, to decompress the updated files
and new tools that it contains. The files INDEO.DRV, ISVY.DRV, OEMSETUP.INF
and RTUPD.TXT will be created in same directory.
intel -sagRee
After decompression, you may delete the INTEL.EXE file to conserve disk space.
As a precautionary measure, we recommend that you backup the contents of the
directory that contains the present RT Video drivers, e.g. \rtvideo. Now,
copy all the files in the working directory to your rtvideo directory, e.g.
\rtvideo. From the Control Panel in Windows, double click the DRIVERS icon.
Remove the following Indeo Video drivers if they are installed, Intel
Indeo(TM) Driver and Intel YVU9 Driver. Click on ADD and select UNLISTED...
driver installation. Click on BROWSE and go to the directory containing the
version 2.12 INDEO.DRV, click OK and at the next level click OK. When you
installed Intel Indeo Video Driver and the Intel YVU9 driver, restart Windows
for the new drivers to take effect.
